Real estate development…. A family business !

Following the steps of her grandmother, one of the first business woman in the 1960s to run real estate projects in Casablanca’s most beautiful neighborhoods, Rita Chraibi co-found, in 2013, “Interior Designers & International Associates”, an agency that brings together talented architects and interior designers to create, plan and build luxury residential houses.

However, Rita’s early studies didn’t predict this path.  In deed, graduating from Law School at the Mohamed V University in Rabat, Rita will board on an entrepreneurial adventure that will lead her to her real passion: Design.

In 2000, she set up a manufacturing unit in Casablanca to produce luxury boxes.  In 2002, Rita opens “Millésime”, a high-end chocolate concept store, where she sells delicious goodies packaged in her own designed boxes.

In 2008, Rita’s career takes on a new turn.  She works in real estate development, investing in old houses, renovating them, home staging them, and successfully reselling them.

Passionate about her new job, Rita reinforces her experience in home design with a degree. In 2011, Rita goes to Camondo School Paris to get a Validation of Prior Learning (VPL) certificate as an Interior Architect/ Designer.

Throughout her career, Rita carries on her grandmother’s motto: “The stone brings good luck to our family. Work and build it… that is the future!”

Build … an entrepreneurial venture.

Abdeslam El Alami is the grandson of Abdelaziz El Alami, the founder of El Alami Group, the constructer and developer in the 1960s of the Almohades hotel Chain in Morocco.  In the 1970s, the El Alami Group extended its activity to industrial clusters establishing Aluminium du Maroc, Industube, Afric Industries, and Jacob Delafon.

Growing up among challengers and forerunners, and after working for his father’s companies for a while, Abdeslam El Alami started in 1999 his own business: a manufacturing unit of strass jewelry.  He becomes the supplier of luxury fashion designers such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Channel.  He will later sell this production unit to the famous brand: Swarovski.

Passionate about art, beauty and architecture, Abdeslam invests in real estate in 2002 and establishes Castle Mar, his first gated residential project of 9 luxury villas.

As a result of this successful investment, Abdeslam creates in 2005, Castle Development Holding, a company that initiates and manages many flourishing residential projects.

Aware that the success of a real estate business relies on a unique concept and well-designed plans, Abdeslam decided to control the early stage of the process development.  He launched in 2013, in partnership with his wife and brilliant interior architect, Rita Chraibi, “Interior Designers & International Associates”, an agency that brings together talented architects and interior designers to create, plan and build luxury residential houses for his real estate companies, among others.
